So for my first post I had originally planned on waiting until I had perfected the most delicious and amazing recipe but this could take some time!
I can also be a bit of a perfectionist, although I’m sure there are a lot of people who have eaten my cooking and would not agree! Perfection is also not a word I would whilst describing my writing capabilities, so in the interest of having a blog with some content I thought I better just get on with it.
So where to start? Again I thought about perfecting/pimping up one of my safe favourites but I can do that any time and will be doing so. Then whilst thinking about food I started to think about what the hell I am going to cook and eat tonight. It is the end of my shopping week so I am down to a few rag ends in the fridge but I do have some aubergines (which I love) and some chick peas in the cupboard, usually happy bedfellows but also ‘hell on earth’ for my meat loving, alpha male other half. So tonight I am setting myself the challenge of cooking something edible (full stop) and that my unwilling co-dinner will even try and hopefully one or both of us will enjoy. I’ll report back.
